From a very young age, Comrade WILSON has been actively involved in political work and social work and defended the rights of the working class. He has consistently fought plantation workers rights and livelihood in Kanniyakumari district in south Tamil Nadu. He has also fought against violation of the human rights
and anti-people policy of the state. Comrade WILSON has fought along with rubber plantation workers of Kanniyakumari District for their rights. Along with late Com Dass, the indefatigable fighter for socialism and communism, Com. WILSON led many rallies and demonstrations and was detained by the police on several occasions. In 1991 he contested from the ThiruVattar Assembly constituency in kanyakumari District.
He also contested in the local body elections in 2007 in Tamil Nadu. Comrade WILSON submitted demand petitions to the collector and other High level authorities and led demonstrations for TSUNAMI relief to people of affected areas in Kanyakumari District. .....more
